Only 4 3/4 inches long. Not including the overhangs. Marked by Holtzapffel, but clearly a Rob’t. Towell. Original Ward 1 3/8 inch iron. Fine mouth. There is an imperfection in a dovetail near the mouth, but it is completely hidden by a stain. Towell worked ca. 1800.
