Hi folks!

We recently launched a new website to make your tool shopping experience easier. There are three key elements of it that you'll need to know to find the antique tools that you love.

( Please note: Unfortunately, we were only able to import one photo per tool during the transfer, but we are in the process of adding any photos to tools that had them on the old site. In the meantime, if you need more photos please email us at jim@jimbodetools.com and include the item number(s) and we will email you the link as soon as we have added them to the site.  And we will continue to have multiple photos for each tool, if needed, as we list every day forward. )

In the top left of your screen, you'll see the MENU button.

In the top right of your screen, you'll see a SEARCH button.

Clicking on SEARCH will bring up a text box for you to put your search in. If you put your search in quotes, like "stanley no. 2" then the search will get narrower and more accurate:

It will also tell you how many results there are. If you click on the blue bar (SEE ALL RESULTS), you'll be taken to a page that lists out those results. Or, if you see a top result you like, just click on that product to be taken right to the product page.

TIP- if you want to search just the Jim Bode's Value Guide to Antique Tools use the search box at the top right of the website to search for your tool. When the search results page comes up go the the left side and choose the TAG or COLLECTION named " NEW! Jim Bode's Value Guide to Antique Tools ". You will only get the tools that have been sold.

The MENU is now mobile-friendly, and pops out from the left side when you click it:

You'll see all of our top-level categories. If you click on a category with an arrow >, it will show you all the subcategories for those types of products:

Next, when you are viewing a tool on it's own page put your MOUSE OVER the image for a zoom view. Use the ARROWS < > to either side to view the next photo(s). Then again, put your cursor over each image to get a zoom view.

Finally, if you click on Login, you'll be taken to the login page where you can register for a new account or log into your account. Note that if you had an account on our old site, you'll need to make a new one for the new site.

The browser that use are using can securely save your credit card info so you can use it for your next purchase. Your  card information is NOT stored on our site. Ever. For privacy and security, we can never see your card info.

Still have questions? We'd be happy to help. Send us an email at jim@jimbodetools.com. We want to make sure you always have the best antique tool buying experience possible so you won't miss out on any of your favorite tools!
