9 inches in diameter and 13 1/2 lbs. It has 4 sided jaws for holding square or round stock. Numbered 2386 but not signed. Lathe number 2386 was sold in 1889. Near mint condition. The jaws have yet to wear off the decorative       snarling. Decorative finishes—were polished "snarled" or "curled" using a Tam-O'Shanter/Water of Ayr stone. 5/8 " 9tpi  threads.

Holtzapffel, established in 1794 sold its last lathe in 1928.
