10 3/16 inches long. Steel construction, pinned and brazed. Uncut, single, unmarked, 1 3/4 inch iron. The iron and wedge are, of course, not original but look good. The sole has heavier brazing at the rear. There is evidence of extensive hammering at the rear. A rare piece of history, nearly 500 years old yet still lovely and functional.
