Only 3 5/8 inches long. The iron is 7/8 inch wide. Completely unmarked. One of only two known. The other was offered in the March 31, 2012 Brown's Auction catalog. The unique cutter adjustment is facilitated by a worm gear, which affects a flat lug protruding from the back of the iron. It's an extremely high quality plane. We have been able to find no patent information. The double knurled thumbscrews are somewhat similar to Chaplin's type planes.
