One of the most complicated woodworking tools ever produced. It's a wonder that it ever made it into production. As it is, only a handful are known to exist. The plane is actually the invention of four men from Dundee, N.Y. They were M.J. WHEELER, G.W. ROGERS, H.W. PIERCE and M.B. TIDEY. The brass arch is clearly marked by the maker along with the patent date. The plane is extra fine condition. It is flawless and has never been tampered with. B with boxwood arms, nuts, and washers. The soles and the trim are brass. Amazing!
