By far the best boring machine ever made. The only machine i will ever use! MILLERS FALLS machines employ a solid four-legged steel frame as opposed to a sloppy two-legged wood frame. This one is as tight as the day it was made, 100% complete, and ready to use. The bearings and teeth show no wear. Accepts any standard 1/2" shank boring machine bit, which we have listed separately. This machine has been thoughtfully cleaned and oiled. It could use a bit more cleaning but it is ready to use right out of the box. It has a depth stop for perfectly even mortise bottoms. Just move your hands to the left while cranking and the bit is automatically withdrawn. This is one of the finest examples we have ever sold. It still has the original paint on the faces of the gear teeth.
