As good as they get. 10 inches long. Clear, straight grained beech. Heavy, flat chamfers in the 18th century style. Bedded at 58°. A graduated set numbered 3-14 including both even & odd numbered planes measuring 1/4 inch to 1 inch wide. The following pairs are included: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14. Eight of the irons are vintage, while 12 are new. The mouths are so tight that you may want to open them up a little bit. Expect to do a little fettling.
