STRICKER worked in Vinemount, PA. ca. 1884-96. An awesome axe with the head of an Indian engraved or etched into it and the cutting edge of the blade dovetailed on. I don't think the work was done by Stricker. It is more likely that a very talented blacksmith was just showing off. We have never seen anything like it. If you look closely there are some thin fracture lines here and there.
