John Sleeper b. 1754 was in the Battle of Bunker Hill. He worked in Newburyport, Mass and was one of the most prolific 18th C plane makers. This whopper of a plane is nearly 2 wide and just over 9 long. The odd profile is a fenced astragal and elongated cove. Fine.
