Clean, fine, no issues. Perfect handle. Original 2 1/8 inch Ward iron has been re-bitted. Stewart Spiers (b. 1820-d. 1899) perhaps the finest plane maker that ever existed. His planes were not only the best in quality of construction but also aesthetically pleasing. The Spiers firm operated from 1840-1936.
