One of the best woodworking vises ever made. This is the original 35 pound Record, made in England. Not one of the current Asian knockoffs you see on eBay. The jaws are 9" wide and open to nearly 13 1/2". The 52 1/2E has a quick release feature, a trigger that allows you to pull the vise open like a drawer. It locks automatically when you let go. Much of the original japanning remains.
