Stunning Stanley Miller’s Patent Type 3 Plane
The Most beautiful tool ever produced. Crisp and fine. Original and complete. A type 3 ca. 1874 with the two piece screws and the long graceful tote spur. Stanley began stamping the totes in 1874 and this one is not marked. The knurling on the screws is crisp and clean. The plane has no damage, rust or pitting. The rosewood tote is flawless. Stanley No. 94 Large Rabbet Plane
One of the best ever made with it’s adjustable mouth and precision Norris type adjuster along with it’s heft. 1 ¼” wide. 7 ½” long. A type one made in U.S.A. model with the patent dates on the iron.
