Yankee No.
2101 - 10 Inch bit Brace
The
best brace ever made. Ball bearings, sealed gears. So well made they
challenge you to put a wrench on the chuck. Another nice feature is the
screw off cap above the gears. Take off the cap, fill with fresh oil and
it’s good for another 50 years. 10 inch size. Fine condition with very
little rust.
“The
finest bit-brace ever made. Holds any shape bit (round, square, any taper)
in a vise-like grip. Ratchet works without calling for a hand to hold
chuck from turning back. Does every kind of a boring job within scope of a
bit-brace. Quick-centering, ball-bearing chuck. Holds round shanks up to
½ inch diameter, and square shanks up to 5/8 inch across corners used on
larger bits. Ball bearings give easy action in your hand, enabling you to
lock and release bits at a turn of the wrist. Famous ‘Yankee’ Ratchet.
Finger touch on easy-acting ratchet shifter gives sure positive shift, and
secures a smooth, silent, powerful ratchet. Bronze-encased against dust
and moisture. Hard rubber handles. .Unbreakable, won’t warp, shrink,
bind, or crack. Top handle, steel clad, ball bearing. Patented
‘Yankee’ method prevents excessive play in sweep handle. Finish.
Nickeled and finished in keeping with the perfection of its
construction.” Item #web7
