Completely constructed of buffalo horn and brass except for the head, which is ebony and ivory. An early 67 Spring Lane model with split ring chuck, which is in perfect condition. 67 Spring Lane was Marples earliest working address in the 1850's. Overall length is 14 1/2 in. The buffalo horn stuffing is absolutely perfect all around.
