One of the prettiest axes we have ever owned. At least 200 years old. The head measures 5 1/2" long with a 3 1/8" edge. The overall length is 23". The handle is reinforced at the top by a decorative forged steel wrap. The handle is further reinforced by a center spine extending down about 8" into the handle and riveted at the top of the head.
